Beautiful Puebla with over 5,000 historic buildings.  Puebla's architecture is a major reason the city was chosen as a World Heritage Site. On this tour you'll encounter some of the best examples of baroque, renaissance and classic styles in Mexico.  We'll visit the cathedral which has the tallest towers in Mexico.  Some of the best museums in the country are found here.

 

Delicious and historic dishes for lunch and dinner.  We'll take you out to savor the Puebla specialties of Mole Poblano and Chiles en Nogada once you've eaten these we can almost bet that you may want to comeback to Puebla just for the food.  For dessert famous Camotes plus many other local sweets to choose from.

Tlaxcala Tour $590 Pesos Per Person

 

Friendly Tlaxcala or "The City of Fountains" un-officially, with a compact city center filled with colonial era building painted in cheery colors.

 

We'll show you the basilica of our lady of Ocotlan, walk on the street of the holy water and take some of that holy water to go. See the Regional Museum of Tlaxcala, visit city hall to gaze at some very extraordinary murals and just stroll the cozy town and go up and down the many, many steps the many hills of this city have in store for us.

 

We'll have a tasty and inexpensive lunch at the arcades on the main plaza.

Cholula Colonial & Great Pyramid Tour $490 Pesos Per Person

 

Cholula so near, yet so different, very rich in history and tradition.  One of the oldest and longest continuously settled and habited cities in the Americas and in the world.

 

We'll visit two must see churches in the small villages of Acatepec and Tonantzintla near us on our way to see the biggest pyramid in the world (per volume) in Cholula, there you'll find many cafes, restaurants, boutiques, shops, bars and nightclubs. We'll climb to the top of Tlachihualtepetl (in náhuatl "hill made by hand") and see how many churches and other old temples you can count.

​According to tradition Cholula has about 365 churches, chapels, convents, exconvents plus many other parish churches museums and other places with culture.

Tecali & Tepeaca Tour $ 690 Pesos Per Person
 

 

These two colonial towns are centers of onyx & marble arts and crafts production located 47 kilometers from the city of Puebla. The main street of town is dotted with local shops selling their arts at a low price.

 

The ruins of the Spanish colonial era Convent are a designated Cultural Heritage Monument in the municipality. The former Franciscan convent was completed in 1540.  There is also another interesting ex-convent in Tepeaca near-by.

Atlixco Tour $590 Pesos Per Person

 

Churches, arcades, colonial mansions, portals, hermitages, cerros, carpet flowers and many, many flowers.

 

Atlixco of the flowers as it is called.  We'll show you the most important churches in the city which date from the 18th century, noted for their intricate “folk baroque” facades created from stucco by indigenous craftsmen.  This is one of the oldest and longest continuously settled and habited cities in the Americas and in the world.

Delicious cecina de yecapixtla, a sort of cured beef for lunch.  Vegetarian options available as well and delicious ice cream for dessert.

Cacaxtla & Xochitecatl Tour $690 Pesos Per Person

 

Cacaxtla with thousands of years of history and various civilizations, including the mother of all, the Olmec and the Maya among others, the main temple has a large basement of 200 metres in length by 25 metres in height, which gives a stunning view of the surrounding landscape, but the main and world famous attraction is the mural of the battle dating to AD 700

Xochitécatl, with several pyramids, is believed to have been the most important ceremonial center of the dispersed population in the valley of Puebla-Tlaxcala and home of many generations of people throughout approximately nine centuries.
  It is believed the inhabitants helped bring about the downfall of Cholula.

Cuetzalan Pueblo Magico Tour $1,800 Pesos Per Person

 

Cuetzalan is a must visit place, a quaint colonial village set high in the lush hills of northern Puebla. 

In this town you'll feel as if you have gone back in time 200 years,

we'll hike these cute and winding cobbled streets of this pueblo magico.

Many options for swimming with the many waterfalls in the jungle with cool and pure crystal clear water as this is the starting point of all these rivers.  We'll also take you for a hike or a short combi ride to see and explore the small, recently opened but worthy archaeological site of Yohualichan.

Cantona Tour $990 Pesos Per Person

 

Cantona or "House of the Sun" is recently excavated vast Olmec-Xicalanca archeological site is located 104 kilometers from the city of Puebla.  15 square kilometers in size but only 1% of the site recently excavated.

 

We'll find piramids, ball courts, platforms, walls, alleys, altars and a very interesting museum.

Popocatépetl Volcano Tour $990 Pesos Per Person

 

A day trip to enjoy and admire this 5,500 meter high stratovolcano (17,802 ft). Popocatepetl in Nahuatl or smoking mountain in English. Feel its superb nature and awesomeness of this active volcano located on a national park.  We will go along the "Paso de Cortes" which is the route that the conquistadors took more than 500 years ago and feel a little bit of what it was like when they were on their way to enter the great Aztec city of Tenochtitlan.

 

Iztaccihuatl Inactive Volcano Tour $990 Pesos Per Person

 

A day trip to hike this impressive active volcano (5,230 meter high) (17,160 ft)Iztaccihuatl in Nahuatl or "White Woman" in English. The difference between the Popocatepetl and Iztaccihuatl volcanoes is that Iztaccihuatl is not an active volcano, so it should be safer to climb it.  This dorman volcano has the lowest peak containing permanent snow and glaciers in Mexico.  The volcano is located on a national park.  We will go along the "Paso de Cortes" to retrace back the route that the conquistadors took more than 500 years ago and feel what it was like when they were on their way towards the great Aztec city of Tenochtitlan.

The tour includes back and forth transportation and a tour guide.
